To improve the appearance of acne scars, the gentle skin resurfacing treatment is absorbed by the top micro-layers of the skin to vaporize the scarred tissue and to stimulate the production of new collagen in the dermis.
What to expect:
Each person is different but during the treatment, you can expect minimal to mild discomfort. Immediately following treatment, you may experience some redness or swelling that will subside after a few hours. You can resume daily activities immediately following the treatment. It is best to avoid direct sun for a few days following treatment and to apply a good mineral sun screen.

LED Lights for Acne
LED light therapy can help improve the appearance of the skin and to treat specific skin concerns like acne.
LED light therapy involves blue, red and infrared light to treat the specific skin concern. The blue LED light is set at a high energy level to treat acne effectively. The blue light kills the bacteria that causes acne and the blue light can help reduce inflammation and redness.

There is some minimal to mild discomfort during the treatment. After the treatment, you may experience some redness to the treatment area and/or swelling.
You cannot be on Accutane for at least 6 months, and you cannot be taking Accutane during the treatment plan set for you.
You may see a slight improvement of active acne after one treatment. For optimal results it is recommended to have a minimum of 4 treatments. A custom treatment plan will be discussed with you during your initial consult.
