With Dermal Fillers you will be able to see results almost instantly. With any filler treatment, you will be swollen for a few days, and takes up to 2 weeks for your filler to set. We always recommend scheduling a 2 week follow up if you need a touch up.
Fillers are a relatively safe treatment with minimal side effects. There may be some redness, swelling, tingling, firmness and/or bruising after treatment. These effects are common and will disappear within a few days post treatment.

Having previously worked at the Sault Area Hospital, the combination of her experiences there and her passion for aesthetics combined to inspire her to open up her own business. Registered Nurse Angie Glavota, graduated from Sault College in the Nursing Program. Her experiences in school and in the field have taken her across the USA for 9 years as a critical care nurse. She is working at the Sault Area Hospital in the medical follow up clinic, and with her calm personality and experiences in critical care she is able to excel in any field. Angie’s knowledge of the latest innovations in beauty combined with her personable demeanour and medical fortitude, creates an ease with clients to achieve their best self. She is passionate about skin health and all of the advanced treatments, which will allow her to help clients look and feel their best. Angie’s enthusiasm for keeping up to date with ongoing trends will be beneficial to Laser Advantage and to her clients.
Andrew Metcalfe MN NP-PHC currently teaching full-time in the BScN 4 year program Sault College, and currently part-time casual Nurse practitioner at the North Channel Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic. Primary back ground is medical surgical, graduating in 2002 Diploma Sault College, Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing 2007 from Lakehead University, completed a Master’s of Nursing 2010 from Athabasca University and Post-Master’s Advanced Nurse Practice Nurse Practitioner in 2014 from Athabasca University. I enjoy working with people and helping them achieve their maximum health, I love teaching about health and healthcare, and forming a partnership with clients when it comes to providing services and informative choices. I look forward to being apart of the expanding Laser Advantage team! Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Sara has always been passionate about helping others. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa in 2010, followed by a Master’s in Nursing and a Nurse Practitioner Diploma from the University of Toronto in 2016. With over 14 years of health-related experience, Sara has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner at the Algoma Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic since 2017. Sara is a strong advocate for holistic, evidence-based care, emphasizing the importance of mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Her keen interest in medical aesthetics allows her to adopt a comprehensive approach, ensuring that each patient feels like the best version of themselves.
